BREAKING NEW FRONTIERS

TEXT: ISAIAH:43:19

INTRODUCTION
To lay a formidable foundation for this discourse, we shall be considering the three variables here.

1. BREAK/BREAKING
For the sake of our emphasis, we shall be considering the intransitive connotation(s) of the word ‘Break’ as:

A. To burst forth; to make its way; to come into view.

B. To become audible suddenly.

C. To suddenly become.

D. To surpass or do better than (a specific number), to do better than (a record), setting a new record.

E. To make an abrupt or sudden change; to change the gait.

F. To cause, or allow the occurrence of, a line break.

G. To crack or fracture under a physical strain.

H. To begin.

I. To arrive.

This space will not permit us to pour these all out.

However, in these meanings above, you can deduce one thing similar with all of them, and that is FORCE

So, we can say Break means to force something to happen (suddenly) either for good or bad.

The second word is:

2. NEW
Simply put, New means something that has not been.
A thing unusual and perhaps strange.

It means refreshed, reinvigorated, current, later, opposed to former, recently made, or created, additional, recently discovered.

Never forget that new can still be positive or negative.

Now you understand why God is making all things new in Revelations:21:5?

That’s why He promised his lovers what eyes have not seen nor ears heard, nor has ever been imagined by men in 1 Corinthians:2:9.

Then, let’s talk about the last variable,

3. FRONTIERS
In clear terms, let’s just say Frontier means Pioneer, the first to ever been, the most advanced or recent version of something, leading edge.

Whatever you may call it or understand this topic to be, we’re talking about bringing something new to replace the old.

Now, this is timely for a 21st century youth who lives in the jet age.

Internet has made virtually everybody an innovator and content creator.

What are you still doing?

Will you die without bringing something new to the table? God forbid!

HOW TO BREAK NEW FRONTIERS

1. Renew you mind
Let this mind which is in Christ be in you. Philippians:2:5, Romans:12:2.

Ideas rule the world.

The thoughts of mind generates the body.

You can never achieve more than your mindset.

Renew your mind today and see yourself breaking new frontiers.

2. Rely completely on God.

There is a spirit behind every success and failure.

The supernatural controls the physical.

That’s why inpatient people serve Satan.

In as much as we have a participatory role to play in breaking new frontiers, let us bear in mind that the real work is done by the Holy Spirit.

Zechariah:4:6, 1Samuel:2:9, Ephesians:2:9, Romans:9:15-18, 1 Corinthians:3:6-8(7), Proverbs:21:30-31, Ecclesiastics:9:11, Psalms:127:1-2.

All these scriptures are reminding us that human efforts without God’s backing is a waste of energy.

CONCLUSION

There is a place for hard-work (human effort) and there is a place for Grace (spiritual input).

It is impossible to break new frontiers if one neglects any or both of them.

I pray the Spirit of truth guides you into these truth in Jesus name, Amen!

PRAYER

Maranatha!!!
