Flashback: Elekwachi Champion felicitates with bloggers on 2020 International Bloggers Day

AS WE CELEBRATE OUR BELOVED PROFESSION TODAY,

I want to start by apologising to the public on behalf of my fellow bloggers who have always promoted fake news and internet fraud.

I wish to notify us all that blogging is never in anyway associated with lies and fake.

As we bear in mind that bloggers are eye witnesses who risk their lives to bring us information immediately it happens, unlike the national dailies that announce it up hours and days laters, we plead with you to always patronise us so as to help our hustle.

Most challenges we get in blogging include not having sufficient fund to boost this enviable career, lack of government support, lack of public support as they believe we all are liars, frustration from Google and other higher internet companies and hosts, etc.

Brutality, abuse and injustice not excluded.

We look forward to having bloggers who will represent this noble profession in honesty and service, bearing in mind that the ultimate profit is satisfying our audience, not actually the money involved.

I pray that bloggers reading this today will celebrate that of next year as millionaires.
