GENTLE JACK SLAPS DIEWAIT IKECHUKWU ON SET

Nollywood Veteran Actor, Diewait Ikpechukwu responds to the question of his toughest or most challenging movie role.

His statement reads;

“When we were shooting Antichrist, Gentle Jack, who was the head of the ‘666 warriors’, slapped me so heavily that I saw stars. I was acting as the priest and he (Jack) was supposed to slap me at some point, but I didn’t know it was going to be that heavy.

He used his entire muscle and landed on my cheeks and I told the director that I was not going to act again. They then began to beg me but I refused. After much pleading, I decided to continue the shoot.

Still in that movie, we were on location in a zoo in Enugu where a lion was at the other part while we occupied the second side. It was just a rod that separated us. It rained that day and we were still shooting that night. Had it been the lion broke out and attacked us, we would have become meat for it. I was scared to my bones.

That was one very big challenge moment I’ve had”.
