OGANIHU MBAISE ORGANISES A TOWN HALL MEETING FOR NATIONAL ASSEMBLY CONTESTANTS IN MBAISE LAND ON SATURDAY 21st OF JANUARY 2023
By Engr. C Joseph.
The leadership and management of Oganihu Mbaise Port Harcourt in collaboration with Ezuruezu Mbaise has organised a Town Hall Meeting with all the candidates contesting election in 2023.
This is a one day political sensitisation geared towards engaging all candidates interested in assuming a political position on important issues relating to the upcoming February/March 2023 election.
In the interest of the public and the good people of Mbaise Nation the meeting was held at the Ezuruezu Mbaise office in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area.
Without doubt, this movement is more like a peace accord where contestants who are expected to be hostile to one another do the opposite by coming together as brothers to reason alike as it touches the development of Mbaise Nation.
This could be said to be the best political gathering in recent times and we hope the good people of Mbaise will receive maximally the full dividends of democracy this period.
Contestants from different political parties were present including the Accord Party flag bearer for Owerri Senatorial Zone – Michael Chika Kwazeman Egbujuo Nwachukwu (Mpi Dike, Egbulu Obube) popularly known as Mike Nwachukwu.

In his remarks, he expressed astute knowledge of governance through the National Assembly as an experienced leader who already knows what he is going to achieve if given a mandate.
He went further to stress that if he assumes his aspired position into the Red Chambers he will ensure every member of his constituency gets trained in a skill.
This he tends to achieve by securing the divers Federal Government Skill Acquisition Schemes to Owerri Zone.
In addition, he will just like the Labour Party Presidential flag bearer – His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi use the resources meant for the people to benefit the people.
He also promised to make agriculture become important and beneficial to the people and also attract projects that will ease the lives of the citizens of Owerri Zone.
