Pain- By Joe Aniche Nwakanma
PAIN
No one loves pain
Yet to some it comes like rain
Washing away all soothing balm
Which in the past brother calm
A woman in labour has pain
When the baby is birthed, great gain
Mother gives birth crying
Baby arrives crying
Pain
The part of man that won’t understand
To put your mind on it is vain
Don’t lie, don’t sit, stand!

The pain exists in the mind
Spiritual man, go ahead, bind
The spirit of pain
And you shall have rain of gain
I have seen pain
I have known pain
I have lived with pain
Yet others have seen more pain
