A PROTEST PETITION WAS WRITTEN BY CRITICAL STAKEHOLDERS AND LEADERS IN UMUNOMO CHAPTER AGAINST THE IMPOSITION OF MR. DIM EMEKA OBASI AS AD-HOC DELEGATE WHICH WAS SUBMITTED TO AHIAZU MBAISE PDP CHAIRMAN HON. IBEAWUCHI OBOLOBO AND COPIED TO IMO PDP AND NATIONAL PDP.

DIM EMEKA OBASI BRIBED TEN PARTY MEMBERS WITH ORDINARY TWO THOUSAND NAIRA EACH TO IMPOSE HIM AS ACCLAIMED PDP LEADER IN UMUNOMO PDP CHAPTER OVERNIGHT AHEAD OF THE AD-HOC DELEGATE SELECTION FOR IMO PDP GUBER PRIMARIES BUT ABSCONDED AND DISAPPEARED DURING HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SEAT ELECTION IN AHIAZU MBAISE LGA.

PDP AS A PARTY HAS QUALIFICATIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS TO MAKE A PARTY MEMBER A LEADER IN ANY WARD OR LGA.

PDP AS A PARTY CANNOT GIVE GOVERNORSHIP AD-HOC DELEGATE TO AN ACCLAIMED LEADER DIM EMEKA OBASI WHO IS ABUJA BASED PDP MEMBER WITHOUT ANY INPUT AND PARTY CONTRIBUTIONS IN THE WARD AND LGA, WHO DISAPPEARED DURING HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SEAT ELECTION IN AHIAZU MBAISE LGA.

On Saturday 23rd of February, 2023, the stakeholders, executives and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in Umunomo/Umuchieze ward held a meeting for the massive victory of the party.

Before the above successful deliberation, ten party members connived, cornered themselves in a different location and appointed a none active member but abuja based PDP Member Mr. Dim Emeka Obasi as the acclaimed leader of PDP in Umunomo Chapter having collected bribe from Mr. Dim Emeka Obasi.

Worthy of note is that both at the ward and Local Government levels Mr. Dim Emeka has not contributed a dine as a registered party member or community development instead he siphon and defrauded funds meant for Ihitteafoukwu youths Empowerment December 2019.

The LGA executives knows these facts and do not recognise abuja based PDP Member as a leader in Umunomo/Umuchieze ward and the LGA at large.

Mr. Dim Emeka Obasi is an Abuja based MC who parades himself as a dignitaries because his occupation warrants him to take photoshoots with top leaders thereby targeting dignitaries to defraud them.

This heinous act comes as a bid to disunite the party in Umunomo Chapter and ward at large.

Intelligent Leaders of thought have wondered and questioned why the selection of Dim Emeka Obasi was conducted in a closed and hidden venue rather than having a consensus of entire Leaders if really he is qualified in Umunomo Chapter because there are qualifications and contributions to the party to make someone a Leader in Ahiazu Mbaise LGA.

This confirms the fact that he is not qualified and would not be accepted by the party members in Umunomo Chapter having disappeared during House of Assembly Seat election held on 18th of march 2023.

Suffice to say that this kangaroo appointment has been targeted to forcefully Imposed Dim Emeka Obasi as the ad-hoc delegate for 2023 Imo State governorship primary election against the wishes of Umunomo PDP Chapter.

Dim Emeka Obasi has never donated any kobo in Umunomo Chapter to the party before now but has returned from Abuja only on 23rd of February 2023 to buy the gullible and corrupt off in his favour to the detriment of justice, equity and fairness.

Competent Leaders and stakeholders should stand on equity, justice and fairness in Umunomo PDP Chapter in Umunomo/Umuchieze ward Ahiazu Mbaise LGA.

Within 23 days of concocted acclaimed leader Mr. Dim Emeka Obasi disappeared during House of Assembly Seat election thereby not disqualified to answer a Leader in Umunomo/Umuchieze ward and Ahiazu Mbaise PDP at large.

We must reposition our party PDP in Umunomo/Umuchieze ward by applying equity, justice and fairness unless so many party members might leave the party because of several injustice.
